Someone recently asked me ~
“What’s the difference between your Creative Oasis Retreats and your classes and workshops?”
It’s a good question.
So, I thought I’d to make a couple of quick videos to help explain each in a little more detail, so you can decide which might be best for you right now.
Today, I want to tell you about Creative Oasis Retreats, which I’ve been hosting since January of this year. These retreats are a chance for you to step away from your daily routines, never-ending to-do lists, worries and stresses and step away from it all to join me for a relaxing, day of creative play in the comfy, cozy Creative Oasis Spaces of my home in East Dallas.
You’ll arrive to a find a fresh pot of my favorite coffee and wide assortment of teas waiting for you.
I’ll serve you and the other women joining us a leisurely, delicious breakfast and I will NOT allow you to lift a finger. Even taking your dishes to the sink is a no-no. I’m here to give you a much needed day off from kitchen duty!
Next we’ll head upstairs to my yoga/meditation room where I’ll teach you a quick and easy energy balancing routine that I use every single day to keep myself feeling grounded, centered and energized.
Throughout the day you’ll enjoy simple hands-on creative experiences that will help you rejuvenate your playful creative spirit in a variety of fun ways.
I’ll also serve you a tasty lunch and snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. (Can’t create on an empty stomach!)
Each month has a new theme, and I invite a guest to partner with me to share her special gifts with the group, such as gentle yoga, tarot readings, harmonic breathwork, sound baths, gong meditations and intuitive painting sessions.
(My dear friend, talented artist and art therapy instructor, Silky Hart Michero, will be back this month to lead us through more of her fabulous intuitive painting sessions during my on Thursday, October 18th and Saturday, October 20th! Big fun for people like me who don’t consider themselves to be an artist and also a very freeing creative fun for experienced artists as well.)
Then there’s the magic.
Yep. That’s really the best way to describe what happens every single time a small group of kindred creative spirits end up together for a Creative Oasis Retreat! Magical moments and heemeesheemees (My word for serendipities!) seem to be sprinkled throughout each and every one of these retreats. It’s truly amazing!
The conversations and connections during these retreats are so special, empowering and a thing of beauty. The women who are meant to meet sign up for the same retreat do so ~ every single time! Magic!
So that’s what my Creative Oasis Retreats are all about in a nutshell.
You can learn all of the details for my October, Going With The Flow Of Creative Play retreats and register to join me and Silky here. Remember ~ there are only 5 seats per retreat date, so be sure to register now if you want one of them to be yours!
Look for my next video in a couple of days when I’ll share how my classes and workshops differ from my retreats and help you decide which would be right for you at this point on your creative journey.
Until next time, all the best from my Creative Oasis to yours,
