I’ve just returned from my Creative Oasis Retreat nestled in the cozy mountain town of Breckenridge, Colorado. I posted some fun photos and videos on Instagram and Facebook. If you’re curious I about the weekend I invite you to check them out.
If you weren’t able to join me in Colorado, but are longing for a relaxing day away from it all for some guided creative play and good self-care you’re in luck! There’s still time for you to join me for my November retreats right here in Dallas!
Next week’s retreats are all about Embracing Creative Bliss Through Your Senses. I’m super excited to be partnering with Denae Richards of Holistic Sounds.
She’ll share one of her fabulous sound bath meditations with us. While you lie or sit in a comfortable position Denae will create a symphony of sound that fills the room, surrounds you and reverberates into your very being! You’ll experience how the sound of gongs, Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls and other instruments streamline the therapeutic relaxation process.
Here’s how Denae explains it:
“Sound delivers powerful waves into your mind and body, putting you in an instant restorative trance. Your entire being elevates into a relaxed state where your mind slows & your body melts. In addition, the sound stimulates the medulla in the brain stem activating the auditory (vagas) nerve that connects with all the muscles of the body. This triggers the parasympathetic systems and signals the brain to relax and flood the body with natural healing chemicals. This deep relaxation sets the stage for healing at many levels.”
I had never experienced anything quite like it before attending one of Denae’s sound meditations. I’d say it’s like an audio massage for your mind, body and spirit.
This is also a rare opportunity to experience one of her transformative sound meditations in a small private group here in my yoga/meditation space.
Throughout the retreat you’ll also use your sense of taste while enjoying the yummy breakfast, lunch and snacks I’ll have waiting for you along with coffee, a wide variety of teas and sparkling waters.
You’ll also tap into your sense of smell with essential oils and sight when we experiment with the way different colors call to us and enhance our moods and then enjoy an intentional color walk around my funky East Dallas neighborhood.
I’ve limited these retreats to 5 women per date to provide you with a more personalized, relaxing experience.
If you have any questions send me an email or post your in the comments below and I promise to get back with you to chat further asap! (If you’re new to Creative Oasis Retreats I invite you to check out this short video that will paint a picture of the experience for you.)

Two final things I want to share with you ~ if you don’t live in Dallas but would still love to join me for one of my day retreats here ~ it’s possible for you to add an evening Air BnB type sleep over to the retreat on a first come first serve basis ~ so be sure to ask me for more info if that sounds good to you
And lastly, if you and a small group of friends or even just you alone, would like to schedule your own private VIP Creative Oasis Retreat we can make that happen! Simply contact me via my website or email and we’ll set up a time to chat by phone asap!
As always, all the best from my Creative Oasis to yours!
