Beginning in January of 2018, I’ve shared a newly themed Creative Oasis Retreat each month with women seeking creative self-care, camaraderie and fun.
I love hosting women in the Creative Oasis spaces of my East Dallas home while helping them relax into some much needed rejuvenating time away for themselves. Today I invite you to take a sneak peek into these retreats.
I’d love for you to join me, but if you’re unable to I hope these videos, photos and recipes will inspire you to treat yourself to some creative self-care in your own home sometime very soon!
Delicious, Healthy Food & Drink
Each retreat begins with a delicious, healthy breakfast and, of course, plenty of coffee and tea!
Joyful Creative Camaraderie
No matter what the theme of the retreat, you’ll enjoy soul-nurturing conversations with kindred creative spirits. I limit the size of my retreats to five women so you’ll have plenty of time for one-on-one support and a much more intimate and personalized experience throughout the day.
Playful Creative Experiences
You’ll dive into a variety of delightfully doable creative experiences in my colorful, creative room. I design activities to be enjoyed by everyone ~ no special talent or skills required ~ just a desire to have fun and play! You’ll find a plethora of art supplies and inspiring experience to explore.
Rejuvenating Self-Care Practices
We’ll also head up to my meditation/yoga space to experience some type of alternative creative self-care. Past retreats have included yoga, Harmonic Breathwork and Donna Eden Energy Medicine.
Interesting & Fun Experiences to Explore
Each month I partner with a talented friend who’ll share her special kind of creative magic with us such as tarot reading, essential oils, yoga, intuitive painting, oracle cards or Harmonic Breathwork.
Did I Mention Yummy Food, Drinks & Snacks?
You’ll also enjoy a tasty lunch and snacks and drinks are available throughout the day. Sit back and let someone else take care of the cooking and cleaning for a change!
In April, Jane Baldwin prepared an Ayurvedic lunch for us featuring a delicious soup, fresh salad and ginger tea. She shared some tips on healthy spring eating with us as well. (I’ve added two of the recipes at the end of this post for you.)
You’ll find fresh flowers, snacks and other thoughtful touches at the ready to help make your retreat a special experience.

As promised, below you’ll find two lovely recipes shared by Jane Baldwin at our April retreat.
Until next time, all the best from my Creative Oasis to yours!
